The key to running a successful bridal business is not just about decorating your boutique to be a beautiful, welcoming space or buying stunning wedding dresses to hang on your rails. Don’t get me wrong, these are hugely important but it’s the hard work that goes on behind the scenes; our order processes and filing systems, the passion and drive to maintain our standards of service and professionalism that ensure our business is a strong, reliable and financially sound one. When a bride falls in love with one of our dresses and puts her trust in us our commitment to her is 100%.
We do what we do because we love it and we care about it. We aren’t craving accolades or awards but sometimes a little pat on the back, a little recognition of our hard work and success makes it just that little bit better.
The RBA (Retail Bridalwear Association) is an organisation that gives their ‘seal of approval’ (BIG pat on the back) to bridal retailers who they consider to be of the highest possible standard. They have strict criteria that a wedding dress retailer must meet before they are invited to join the elite collection of other bridal stores, of which there are only approximately 100 in the UK. A member of the RBA inspects the bridal store to ensure their professionalism, they are Health & Safety compliance, have the correct insurances in place and they are financially sound. The retailer must have been trading for 5 years and only deal with genuine reputable wedding dress suppliers and designers.
We are proud to say that Cicily Bridal has been invited to join this respected association. We know this seal of approval isn’t tangible and can’t really signify the hard work and passion that drives Cicily Bridal but what it does mean is that the RBA has recognised what we do and are proud to include us in their membership.
When a bride buys a wedding dress from Cicily Bridal not only does it mean she can be sure that she is buying from one of the most respected and competent stores nationwide but there are tangible benefits too. As members of the RBA, any wedding dress bought from Cicily Bridal is protected by the Brides’ Protection Scheme – a form of insurance for her wedding dress.
