Our Pink Wedding Mood Board Inspo

I came across this paint chart the other day. Don’t ask me where I found it because I can’t remember if it was insta or Pinterest or Google! One of those digital worm holes that takes hours to climb out of! Apologies for the very bad quality image but I must have taken a very quick screen shot while whizzing past!

Anyway, I’ve kept chancing on it in my photo library and always stopped to dwell on it. I am really drawn to the palette of soft shades of pink, from palest rose to dark plum and then to almost grey. After further investigation into my photo library it seems that I have become slightly addicted to taking screen shots of images featuring these colours!

So, I thought to myself, why not create some mood boards featuring these colours? How would I style one of our Cicily Bridal wedding dresses with this palette of pinks?

 

Wedding Mood Board #1

For my first wedding mood board I chose the palest of pinks. For me this is a sophisticated pink but with romantic softness. I chose our Charlie Brear Amine wedding dress with the Farah overskirt to style this gorgeous soft pink around.

 

Wedding Mood Board #2

The second pink I decided to use is officially called Old Rose by Pantone. This pink allows you to play a bit more with the peach spectrum. I chose to style it with the Chey wedding dress from Anna Kara which works fabulously with these tones.

 

Wedding Mood Board #3

Finally, I chose to style our Willowby by Watters wedding dress Nala around the darker end of the pink spectrum – plum and deep purples. This tone has a sense of melancholy but can be lifted by using metallics and coral tones.
