What exactly is a “Trunk Show?
Once a year we host a Trunk Show with each of the designers that we work with. Quite simply, this is a special event, usually over a weekend, where we house a bigger selection from a designer’s collection at our studio. At Cicily Bridal we already showcase a good representation of dresses from the designers we work with but a Trunk Show allows us to expand our collections for a couple of days.
What happens at a Trunk Show?
During a Trunk Show event we showcase the majority of the designer’s latest collection, which on some occasions won’t have even launched with retailers yet! Some designers also send popular styles from previous collections and we also have the opportunity to make requests for additional styles. So, if you’ve had your eye on a certain style from the designer then let us know before hand and we will try our best to have it available to try during the event.
Sometimes the designer will also be at the event too which its pretty epic! You will not only get to meet the creative genius who has designed your wedding dress but also gain a huge insight into their vision, expertise and the passion that drives them! Its also the perfect opportunity to discuss all of the different styling options/changes that can be made to any of the styles. The designer also knows their dresses inside out so can advise on what can work best for you.
